Some customers mention occasional wait times during busy hours. While the food quality remains top-notch, those in a rush might find themselves waiting longer than anticipated. Additionally, a few diners have pointed out that the restaurant may look closed due to its exterior lighting. Locals share the tip to look for the 'open' signage as a guide before passing it by. Another common comment revolves around wanting more diverse menu options, especially for those with specific dietary preferences. Despite these points, most agree that the food's quality far outweighs any minor inconveniences.

This place is legit. I LOVE Mexican food, so I’m always looking for great spots. After moving to Utah, it’s been tough finding an extra special spot, something that rivals what I could get in LA. This place easily satisfies that wish, even better than some of the SoCal places I go to. Portions are big too, could t finish my pork verde burrito, though I really wanted to. Will definitely be back

I travel the world photographing (and eating) food... This is the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! For those who love horchata, you're in for a treat! Tacos are amazing- cooked fresh, "El Patrón" Burrito was excellent, and the Ceviche is out of this world! Very reasonable prices, very friendly staff. I'll keep going back for sure!!

Extremely friendly and kind owner, excellent food made fresh, outstanding prices! It felt like I stumbled into their home and not just a restaurant. Such good food!

This place is amazing I'm from California I'm Mexican and this is the first Mexican restaurant I've been to you in Utah that made me feel at home!!! Carlos and his wife Adylinna are awesome! People need to know about this hidden gym in Ogden Utah! Sometimes it may look like it's closed but it's not as long as the lit up sign is on that says open. Homemade tortilla chips amazing asada and their ceviche will send you to another plain of flavor town! 😆 If you're looking for him it's a restaurant and you're in Ogden do not sleep on this place I'm telling you!!

I was on the hunt for a good Mexican hot dog for the longest time! I got one to go from here and it was A M A Z I N G. The best one I’ve had. It was a large portion and it had avocado on it which was different than what I’ve had in the past but it was the perfect touch. The owner came out and talked to us and was super friendly. We are from Salt Lake and wish it was closer to us but we will come by here every time we are in the area.

I always order California burritos at different restaurants, even in Mexico. This was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. I didn’t catch the owner’s name but he was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will be making the trip in the future just for the burrito. 10/10 love this place!
